In the shade of hundred-year-old oaks, the Grésigne forest will give your hikes a very special flavor. With its 3,530 hectares, this state-owned forest is the largest in the Tarn and one of the largest oak forests in Europe. Listed as a Natura 2000 site, the forest is rich in insects, birds, deer and small mammals. It's just a ten-minute drive from the property. Numerous trails are available for you to enjoy this exceptional natural and historical heritage:
- The Saint-Clément trail is a 3.3 km loop. This educational trail explains the main tasks carried out by ONF foresters on a daily basis.
- The Heritage Trail is a 12 km route that gives pride of place to history. Created by the Conseil départemental, it tells the story of the origins of the forest, with its ancient glass furnaces and charcoal sites.
- The GR46® hiking trail runs alongside the Grésigne forest, passing through Castelnau-de-Montimral. For the more experienced, you can walk part of this 420 km-long route linking Turenne (Corrèze) to Toulouse (Haute-Garonne).
The "Bastides Albigeoises" tourist route takes in Lisle-Sur-Tarn, Salvagnac, Puycelsi, Larroque, Bruniquel, Penne, Cordes-sur-Ciel, Villeneuve-sur-Vère, Cestayrols, Castelnau-de-Lévis and Gaillac.

The "Route des pigeonniers" is an opportunity to discover an important architectural element in the heritage of the Tarn region. It takes you through rolling countryside from dovecote to dovecote.
Albi, known as Albi la Rouge: 35 minutes from the property, the episcopal city has been listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO since July 2010. Saint Cécile Cathedral is the largest brick cathedral in the world. Majestic and imposing, it can be seen from everywhere. An architectural ensemble not to be missed. Adjacent to the cathedral is the famous Toulouse-Lautrec museum. The city's atmosphere can be discovered at the bend of an old narrow street, on a sunny café terrace or during a lunch break on the banks of the Tarn.
